The 2025 Low-Altitude Airspace Power and Energy Systems Technology Development Summit recently held its grand opening in Ningbo. LEOG participated in the event, gathering with experts, scholars, and technical professionals from aircraft manufacturers, advanced materials and intelligent equipment suppliers, electromechanical control specialists, and research institutions across the low-altitude aviation sector. Together, they actively discussed development trends in power and energy systems.

The low-altitude economy, as a pivotal frontier in global innovation competition, is reshaping the future of transportation at an unprecedented pace, marked by the rapid rise of drones and eVTOLs (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft). As the core technological cornerstone of low-altitude aircraft, the power and energy systems directly determine an aircraft's range, payload capacity, safety, and operational economics. Compared to traditional aviation propulsion, low-altitude aircraft power systems face more stringent technical challenges: they must deliver optimal performance under multiple competing demands, including extended endurance, heavy payload capacity, high safety standards, and lightweight design.
This summit aims to showcase and facilitate the exchange of innovative achievements in advanced propulsion technologies for low-altitude aircraft. Hosting keynote speeches centered on two critical themes – the diversified technological frontiers of low-altitude aircraft power systems and airworthiness safety alongside industrial integration – the event will explore the diverse technological pathways and chart the future evolution and development directions for low-altitude propulsion systems.

As a technological pioneer, LEOG continuously explores cutting-edge industry technologies. We are actively advancing research across multiple dimensions—including flat wire windings, axial flux designs, pancake motors, material iterations, and motor-drive integration—to drive innovation. Adhering to AS9100 system requirements, we are developing next-generation permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs). These motors achieve high-power output while maintaining lightweight characteristics, significantly enhancing power density. This progress further meets the demands of large eVTOLs and unlocks boundless possibilities for low-altitude mobility.
