In 2018, the first pure-electric mining vehicle from Yutong Mining Equipment, equipped with LEOG Motors' drive system, rolled off the production line, officially marking the beginning of a new chapter for large-capacity electric mining trucks in China. Today, after eight years of dedicated development, LEOG Motors has established a comprehensive product portfolio covering 90-180T new energy wide-body mining trucks. The YQW3(B)-225L3 series drive motor adopts an all-new flat-wire architecture, delivering a peak power of 550kW2 for 60 seconds and a peak torque of up to 3000Nm2 for 60 seconds. It features high power (torque) density, high operational efficiency, a broad range of efficient operation, along with strong overload capacity and high reliability.

 

The YQW3(B)-225L3 series drive motor was designed with a thorough consideration of the harsh environments faced by mining trucks under actual working conditions. It incorporates specialized optimizations for waterproofing, dust resistance, mud protection, resistance to rock impact, corrosion resistance, and tolerance to high and low temperature shocks. Through rigorous validation and specialized manufacturing processes, the design effectively reduces the risk of component failure at its root cause.
